DonGives had the joy of visiting Christ the King School, one of the last remaining Catholic schools in Detroit. Donovan spoke to the entire school about the power of kindness and the importance of being a good friend—a message that resonates at any age.


Our visit included a special story time with the kindergarteners, where we read a book that reinforced the day's themes, as well as how to make good decisions and pivot when things do not go your way. Going classroom to classroom, we connected with students of all ages, sharing stories and encouraging them to practice kindness in their daily lives.


At DonGives, we believe that small acts of kindness can create a ripple effect, building stronger communities and brighter futures. We are grateful to Christ the King School for welcoming us and allowing us to be part of their mission to instill these values in the next generation.
